Distance and time

The distance to Kalinchowk is just around 150 km from Kathmandu, but it takes around a 5-6 hour drive as the roads are quite difficult, so most people visit there on Friday and Saturday. People used to come to Kalinchowk on Friday after wrapping up their work and staying at the Kuri village to enjoy nature and a campfire. Then, on Saturday morning, they visit the goddess Kali.
